"If you create action with least movement, you probably are lazy and the lack motivation and passion!"
While everyone knows someone who does the very least to stay under the radar, does not produce the amount of effort, has a lack of passion, and is the lethal pessimistic virus in the circle, group, team, and or family. caLm is far from allowing "lazy" "lackadaisical" behaviors.
Most of the "A" team or people who perform above expectations spend a lot of time focus on their work, goal, and will do anything to meet the deadline. While the drive is impressive, we have to be careful with how that correlates to a routine of chaos. It is only a matter of time before you run out of gas. If you floor it you probably will need to fill up quickly.
Think of life as a vehicle, they come in all shapes, sizes, and some are geared to racing while others are family accommodating. Regardless of the type of car, they all run off of some source of energy. Be that petrol or electric and many in between. If you run out of that energy, without the ability to refill, how successful might you be? Of course, there are a ton of examples where "flooring it" or moving fast is needed. There is no debate there.
In the same example above, maybe the destination is a mile away in one direction, yet the same endpoint is half a mile away in another. Do you take the shorter route for the sake of earlier arrival? You might. You also may end up arriving later because of some of the obstacles or challenges down that path. You could even get to your destination with no trouble and be early. There is no right answer to arriving at a target, how you did it is a crucial factor, however.
You have to learn to navigate while preserving your energy. If you arrive at your destination and quickly realize you are out of power, what good are you to reach the second, third, or maybe the several other milestones in your journey? What if we arrive and are not prepared for what is next?
Please think of the amount of training and preparation it takes to train an astronaut. They spend years preparing their physical and mental states. There is little margin for error in space. Like in the classic example of Apollo 13. They had a destination and were wildly thrown off and had to revert plans.
Calm is being smart, tactical, strategic in your approach. caLm is not flooring it at every second to burn out at the end and not continue forward. caLm promotes smart thinking, innovation, and allows people to navigate through obstacles while keeping themselves aware of further positions and move needed in the journey.
An intelligent and committed individual will take time where they need it. They will speed up when it is relevant. In the end, they deliver consistent results and do so with little uncertainty. They are fully engaged! Those who are opposite, the lazy and or viruses in the area, quickly rise to the top as weeds in your garden, team, and family. Point being, we can all say we do something great, but only over time does your performance show. In such the same, if you yield low results over time, your trustworthiness is at a question.
Calm will help you remain grounded and keep you at your best while utilizing your energy capacity.
